SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER
John Robins, Hugo Technology’s Service Delivery Manager discusses why his work matters in the service and maintenance of medical devices here at Hugo Technology.
“As Service Delivery Manager here at Hugo I have overall responsibility for our workshops, where we service, repair and maintain a wide range of medical devices for OEMs. I’m proud of the work that our skilled team does, which directly impacts patient’s lives on a daily basis.
One example is a home dialysis equipment which is truly life changing for many patients. These devices allow people to dialyse at home rather than having to go to medical centres multiple times each week which is very restrictive. This technology helps to give patients more freedom to spend time with family and work from home whilst having treatment.
I’ve worked at Hugo Technology for three years now. I have 35 years of service experience gained in multiple sectors. I was attracted to Hugo because of the integrity of the work the company carries out. Our integrity is absolute, and drives us all to ensure every medical device that leaves our workshops is completed to the exacting standards of the Original Equipment Manufacturers and that it adheres to medical device regulations as set out by the governing bodies.”
John oversees and manages around a team of 37 staff between our two sites at Hugo Technology, Bromsgrove. The Team is made up of Technicians, Engineers and Administrative staff who are ‘very dedicated and talented’. The teams are also committed to service and support each OEM medical devices regardless of their technical level. Because we receive training directly from OEMs, Hugo engineers are able to work at the highest technical levels.
